JWL 1(4) is on the shelves!
I received my copy of JWL 1(4) some time last week... It looks great and it is well worth the wait for you readers!  I expect our publication schedule to catch up at least a bit this year.  Taylor & Francis has done a great job keeping me updated and their turnaround time from issue submission to print is shorter.

As a reminder, it includes the following exciting items:

COLUMNS:

Forging a Second Life: My Reality in a Virtual World,          Brian S. Mathews
South African Ensemble,            Sarah Beasley and Candice Kail

ARTICLES AND COMMUNICATIONS:

What a User Wants: Redesigning a Library’s Web Site Based on a Card-Sort Analysis,            Laura Pope Robbins, Lisa Esposito, Chris Kretz, Michael Aloi

Promoting the Development of Online Learning Communities for Library Professional Organizations,            Barbara A. Blummer

Adventures in Online Mentoring: The New Members’ Roundtable Career Mentoring Program,            Samantha Schmehl Hines

Connecting Social Technologies with Information Literacy,           Kara Jones

Twenty Steps to Marketing Your Library Online,           Sarah Houghton-Jan

REVIEWS

Professional Readings on Librarianship and the Web,            Phillip M. Edwards, Review Editor

I just got to know this journal. And please tell me that I misunderstood your first sentence:

"I received my copy of JWL 1(4) some time last week"

A paper copy of a journal of web librarianship? Is this a joke? Can it really be true that this is an offline journal? Absurd...

JWL is published both online and in print:

I agree that having a print version seems ironic!
